THE BOOK OF RUTH | 7.6.25 | SHAWN HAGGERTY

6 July, 2025
Sermon Recap
Pastor Shawn Haggerty explored the story of Ruth, illustrating how God's hand weaves together the seemingly mundane and painful aspects of our lives to create a beautiful tapestry of hope. Ruth, a Moabite widow in a foreign land, navigated loss and despair but ultimately discovered grace and restoration through her commitment to her mother-in-law Naomi. Pastor Shawn highlighted that God is intricately involved in our lives, reminding us that His providence prevails even amid our struggles. We learn from Ruth’s story that no matter how bleak our circumstances may appear, God is actively writing a story of resurrection and redemption. He concluded his sermon by connecting Ruth’s story with the story of the ultimate redeemer Jesus.
