Crossing the Jordan River (Joshua 1; 3-4)
Hey Volunteer Team! This week we will be diving into Joshua 1, where God calls Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land after Moses’ death. God repeatedly tells Joshua to be strong and courageous, to obey His Word, and to trust His faithful presence. As the Israelites prepare to cross the Jordan, God performs a miracle, stopping the river so His people can walk through on dry ground—a powerful reminder that He keeps His promises. Help the kids see that just as God saved and led His people then, He offers us salvation through Jesus, our ultimate and faithful Savior.
